TRUST in HIM

More and more people are beginning to know about Thermomix and more and more people I know seems to own one too. Previously, when I found out my friends' mum got it from someone else, I was a little crushed. Cause my friends (close ones) know I am doing Thermomix so to know that their mother bought from others is a little disappointing. Then I realised there is no point being sad about it. So I started to look at the other side of the coin. At least now more people know about it and perhaps those who were not convinced earlier will now be.

So I've been doing demos with Pao and the response has been encouraging. I've decided to TRUST the Lord to do miracles. I do my demo, I do my part and let God do the rest. Whether they purchase or not, it doesn't matter. Cause I've done my part and maybe one day they will. I am doing Thermomix full time now as I am sure it can give me the flexibility and the income I need for my family. So I pray to God and ask him to reveal if this is what He wants me to do. The flexi hours really will give me time to do other stuff other people who are doing full time job can't. I really hope this is His plan cause I am liking this plan. But if it is not, then He must have better for me.

I am still pursuing this now. I will continue to pray for Him to reveal to me.

So while waiting, more demos?

Ruined Face!

My face has always been round ever since I was young. Back then, it was cute to have round face. Until of course I grew up and round face is a headache. But despite having problems with the shape and size, I rarely had much problem with my complexion. People used to say I have an okay complexion. I may have visible pores and blackheads but pimples are just temporary resident.

However, two months back, I began to have pimples on my face which were beginning to show signs of permanent stay. No matter what I did, they (note the plurality T_T) refuse to leave. They grouped up in a corner on the right side of my face.

They are disturbingly noticeable as they are reddish. I've tried double cleansing, changing product and applying pimple cream but nothing seems to work yet. I have yet to go to any facial and even make-up cannot hide them. As I have just completed my Masters Degree, I do not have the means to go for expensive facials like my sis did. I do hope they will not worsen until I get a job and go for a proper facial.

I used to have clear complexion. Now I don't even enjoy dressing up as the pimples are driving me crazy!!!

Any remedy?

Interviewed and hired

Now it's up to me to try out the classes and decide if I'm willing to sign one year of my life for it.

=) Thank God for such a smooth sailing interview and also for the favour to be upon me since there's another girl waiting to be interviewed after me.

Both interviews I went, I was hired but the first one wasn't what I expected it to be. And never judge a book by its cover cause the second one seems easy (from the website) but when I went for the interview, it was more tricky.

May this be a stepping stone for me to know the business better. The teaching business. Another chapter of my life slowly opening up.

God does provide. =)

Entered 2011

with Daniel right beside me. We went for EPCC Watchnight service which was the first New Year's eve service I've ever been because when I was younger, I would be out in the crowd like the rest, celebrating it and then I grew older and I just stay at home, do nothing and sleep early. This year, I decided to receive the new year in the house of our Lord.

Had awesome time, laughed, played, ate, sang worship to Him, gave my promise to God and prayed to Him. It was a great time. I decided that this year, I want to start my new year being in His presence and welcome the new year with Him with me knowing that He will be close to me throughout the year.

I looked through my resolution in 2010 and I can proudly say, I did okay. =) 6 out of 10 is not bad right? This year, I shall not make any more resolution. (also cause I can't think of any) But I believe God has His plans for me and He will reveal it one by one. So I'll just wait upon the Lord.

I learnt something yesterday. That I should not focus on the circumstances, or the people in the world when something doesn't go my way or when I have doubts. Instead, focus on God, on our Lord Jesus because He knows best. Our human eyes may not see and our human brains may not comprehend but knowing that He is in charge will help us to surrender all to Him and know that He will make something good out of nothing.

Have an awesome New Year and 2011 will be another exciting year. =)

Another sem gone by

This has to be  the most interesting one throughout my 3 years of uni and it ends so quickly.

First time I finish my exam in the first week with only two papers to battle my life for. People are giving me the i-kill-u look but, but, but...I suffered 2 years already, doesn't that count for anything at all? =P

I've been shaking legs and running around for the past week. Time to slow down my life for a few days before running around again chasing kids in VBS. I find life so fulfilling when I can do things for God, share His love with people around me.

Did a personality test and boy was it accurate. I'm both crazy and emo. SO TRUE. I'm not lazy though, what a relief. =P

Life is getting more and more exciting and the boy has met the parents and close friends and was accepted. Also cause they love me la. And he was a great boy to begin with. Meeting his family later and I'm really not a very good girl so it's going to be tough. =) But he is there to assure me that it'll be ok. <3 No fear.

I iz dark chocolate

Holiday was fun! I did my work the first week and play like mad the second. Seriously, one whole week of going out, having fun to the point, I feel tired =P

I gave my friend my hard disk so I can't post pictures. Pictures will be added later.

I went Redbox with friends, had apartment stay like good ol' days, took 1000 pictures, had 3 steamboats in 6 days, then had our much-craving-for mango crepe, went for a swim at 11.30am-damn stupid I know keke, went out with someone for the whole day and had fun, went Hat Yai and shop to my heart's content. Life is good. =) Met Diana TWICE in Hat Yai, super got jodoh can kahwin already if she's a guy. =P

Came back, settled some more work, by next Monday I should be sending in most of my work and starting to relax a little. Still have a few that's due end of October so I have time to get my work done. So fast, I'm finishing my 3rd year first sem. Crazy isn't it? But it has been a wonderful roller coaster ride. Many unexpected things happened and I'm glad it happened.

Got darker and darker. Now I'm no longer white chocolate + milky chocolate. I'm more like dark chocolate. All thanks to the walking in uni, taking insanely lots of pictures on the beach, swimming at 11.30am, I KNOW, what was I thinking? So now, I iz orh kia, mummy say one.

It's true that we plan but God decides. He knows what He wants in our lives and we live each day, surrendering everything to Him cause He knows best. And God, if this is Your plan, i like. =P

Uni is great, few more weeks to finishing this semester and I'm a bit reluctant for it to end so quickly. Time flies when you are happy...or maybe when you are busy =)

Are you sure?

It's happening again. I unconciously leaning on another wall, a man-made wall. Not very wise? I think so too.

Need to go back to the real wall who'll not crumble on me. Who knows exactly how to build me up and knows exactly what He wants me to be. A wall who is SURE of what He is doing and not just leading me around the bush.

Holiday has been...slow. I mean the time passes fast, work progress slow. And I have my WHOLE next week fully booked. So really, I don't know if I can finish my work. Doing bits by bits but tonight I have to finish something and I got it...50% done.

Tomorrow more work to settle. All my 'plans' are re-arranged so that I can finish more work in a day. Cross fingers that everything works well. I really want to hang out next week. *kill all lazy bugs*

Anyways, got my sis to cut my hair two days ago. When she was done, she said, uh-oh. Scare the crap out of me. Ok la, not too bad la. I was traumatized earlier okay?

With specs

And without

******************
Not a very safe thing to be let roaming on the street. Almost got sister killed because I did not see the car reversing beside me and just zoomed past. Thank God I'm okay. Must remember to pray before I drive next time.

God of my dry bones

There are times I felt that I'm so wounded, so scarred, it's impossible to be healed again.

And God is telling me again and again, nothing is impossible for Him.

I told myself it's impossible for me to tear down my wall, just to let people trample all over me, take advantage of me and then leave me to clear the mess.

It has happened for way too many times, one can't help but to think, aiya, impossible one la.

Whack my head for thinking that. =) God will heal. God knows our pains, He knows. Someone once told me, Ping, stop running away. Stop living in denial. Stop making yourself believe that you are okay when you are not.

I guess today is one of those days, I really am tired of running away, of hiding myself, of telling myself it's impossible. It's one of those days I believe that God can heal me. That He can bring back life to my dry bones, even when people have suck out every single living cells in it.

Camp Cam

I've been lazy and unmotivated to blog for the longest time ever. Look at my archive and you'll see. 9 post in April, 1 in May and 1 in June so far. I used to post several post a day or every other day but now, I'm so lazy to even open my own blog. It has been a very fruitful month I would say.

Camp Cam was awesome but I still do not have time to talk about it. I would love to talk about work but I've decided not to because it's not a good take and I don't want to whine no more.

(Let me rant a lil. Work politic is complicated. Talk less, care less and work more. Do your part and don't expect too much.)

I'm missing my Chalet 8 family. Yesterday, when I was listening to the song 'Mujizat itu nyata' and 'Bapa Yang Kekal' again and again, I got brought back to Camp Cam, to the things we learn.

That day, I learn about Him and about myself in a whole new perspective, a whole new way, a whole new angle.

I miss our random-ness. Love the cool shots we took. <3

Each time I see playground and swings, I think of you all. T_T
ps: Apasal Thurston hide?
Miss our gramps

I thought it's quite nonsense to miss people you only got to know for 3 weeks. Miss also a bit only la I used to think. I used to find it funny that my CF-mates call each other mama and all since we are all around the same age. I was wrong, very wrong. I miss all of you and I think I'm used to calling Mama too!!!

Looked through my journal. Lots of things came flashing back. :) And I'm glad.

Till next happier update,
Ping Ping

Love.Transform.Life

I believe I am born a complainer and a whiner. =P I complain and whine about everything, which I'm sure you probably know by now and sometimes, my uni life drives me up the wall. The assignments actually but it's just the same anyway.

Of course after all those complaining and whining, I still go about doing my work. In fact, sometimes I go around whining and complaining WHILE doing my work. I'm so contradicting and ironical like this.

Anyway, despite the amount of workload on my shoulder and on my table, I believe I'm here for more than just studying so I took the chance to get to know lots of wonderful people in uni and being in PKA.

And one of the events we are having is this :-

It's an Easter Celebration event that 3 CFs (Christian Fellowships) in USM are having. Being a Christian for two years, I admit that there are times I take it too lightly and just shake-leg (ie relax) But well, we can shake leg and also get to know Him. So, come to our Easter Celebration. There'll be performance which is a sketch to tell you 'What Easter is all about'. It's not about the easter eggs and bunnies only. I know!

And with this event, we need to fundraise because we are poor students and we cannot afford the sound system, lighting, printing and all without any help. So we are selling :-

Super duper cute badge at RM3. Totally love the design and it's worth to keep to remind you this event and also to help us out.

And the super good quality notebook at RM10 RM8. Buy notebook + badge at RM12 RM10.

This notebook is a great gift for friends as a diary, or as your auto book although I'm not sure if people still do that now. Thinking of it, maybe I should get one more and let my seniors write something. You can even give it to boyfriend or girlfriend and write your love-journey inside with pictures- make a scrapbook. See, I give you idea some more. No need pay me for the ideas. Good quality okay?

I know, super long didn't update and all I do now is promoting but it's for good cause. Do let me know if you are interested in the stuff okay? And do come on the 26th March in  DK U, USM. 7pm-10pm.

Release stress a bit mar =)

My first Family Camp

It's a Christian Fellowship camp, not a camp with my real biological family. It was my first because being me, I avoided attending last year's camp because I had no friends back then. Also because this time around, I'm the secretary for the camp and thus it's a must to attend. I actually thought of not attending but they insist that all committees must attend so I went.

I'm glad I went though. I learnt a lot about God, me as a Christian and also about the PKA-ians. It's a great time to berbonding with the rest, especially the girls because I seriously need some girl friends in campus to girlify myself. I've been locking myself up in my hostel room for wayyyy too long because I'm too lazy to bersosial.

Pictures!!! Just because I'm lazy to type further.

When we first arrived at Cameron. My first time!!! So excited.

I find this picture funny. I was carrying my bag la. Not posing pun.

I think there's more pictures but they have not uploaded it.

Had fun fun fun. Glad I was in the committee which in turn made me attend the camp because I had no choice. Enjoyed myself a lot and learnt a lot bout Him and me as His child.

ps: The blue shirt we wore is our PKA shirt. Nice. Me likey.

More on Cameron in the next post if I am hardworking enough. Don't put high hopes but if you kacau me enough to update, I might. =P

Everything is over now

So so glad. It has been a tough semester and I think I'll become crazy studying all the notes for finals but I will cope. He'll be helping me. =)) He'll guide me in studying and nothing is impossible with Him around. I've learnt to lift all my worries to Him and He promises me He'll make sure I'm alright.

Been into down point in my life these few days but everything will turn out ok. I'm sure they will. It just takes time. But everything will fall into place eventually cause He has control of everything. Everything will fall into places He has planned for me and His plans are always good plans.

=)) I'm blessed with really good friends who are there for me. Friends that I did not appreciate enough last time but really really do now. I feel loved. <3

My sis says she's gonna bring me for good food. Hmmmm... Is Korean Palace good food? =P *hint hint*

Hot day

Today's weather is insanely humid. I think I am not allergic to seafood, thank God, Amen.

I'm a prawn's fan k?? The whole family knows it. Ping is a big fan for seafood. She's extraordinary happy when she sees them. I guess it's because you rarely get to eat seafood. It's not something people will eat daily so when you get to eat it, it's luxurious food so of course you'll feel happy. RIGHT?

Anyway, will only be able to blog about Church Camp when I'm back from Langkawi and I have a feeling that I will not be able to do it. You know, my procrastination skills is quite power (read: New Zealand's post is still incomplete.)

Church Camp was definitely an eye opener  I would say. I've learnt a lot in those three days two nights and I've get to know more people. But I have a feeling that our social circle did not grow bigger. I was completely drained and stuffed (literally). Drained with lack of sleep and stuffed with many things to digest- food for the tummy (buffets- first dinner was shocking), food for the brain, food for my spiritual life.

We were well-fed, in fact, I think we were over-fed. And I have a bad feeling I put on the 3 kgs I would gain if I stay at home for two months in that three days two nights stay there. Can totally feel the tummy man. But I'm back in USM, that means meals without meat. So I'll feel less guilty and my pocket will be saved.

Anyways, tonnes of assignment to be done before I leave for Langkawi on Thursday. =))

Church camp

in another 3 hours. And I've not packed, I'm a little sleepy for waking up too early and I've not packed!!!!!

I should go pack. Will be back on Monday. Don't miss me but please visit for the sake of the hits.

*GASPS*

I was reading back the posts I wrote when I first entered USM and I actually wrote that I was loving USM. What was wrong with me??? Though there are many reasons to love USM but seriously, at times, you just want to leave that place man. That place where assignments, exams, loneliness creeps into you and lives in you. It's bad. I wouldn't say I have no friends there but I definitely do not have Emmoes and Bentengs there. Can't be myself much.

During facial just now

I was doing facial at home because there's too many break-outs on my face and I was too bored.

I was reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and felt drowsy so I rested my eyes.
Minutes later,

Pao Pao : Oi, wake up. Your facial so long already. How long you are supposed to leave it on your face?

Ping Ping : @.@ Huh? *still sleepy*. 15 minutes lor. What?? I just closed my eyes a while la. The song is still the same what?! (Alvin the Chipmunk was singing his lungs out)

Pao Pao : Is it? Very long already la.

Ping Ping : When I started, I was listening to Angela Zhang's song. How long has it been?

Pao Pao: One, two, three, four songs already. Oops, sorry, the Alvin's song repeated la. Already 13 minutes, I think can already.

Ping Ping: WHAT LA~~

Sigh, song repeated. Luckily she woke me up. If not I wake up tomorrow morning with ruined face already. Then I really need plastic surgery already. But it really felt like it was just a short while.

In Christ Alone, My Hope is Found

I dont know why but when I hear this song, it touched my heart and I fell in love with the song. It's a Christian song.

In Christ Alone"
Words and Music by Keith Getty & Stuart Townend
Copyright © 2001 Kingsway Thankyou Music

In Christ alone my hope is found;
He is my light, my strength, my song;
This cornerstone, this solid ground,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
My comforter, my all in all—
Here in the love of Christ I stand.

In Christ alone, Who took on flesh,
Fullness of God in helpless babe!
This gift of love and righteousness,
Scorned by the ones He came to save.
Till on that cross as Jesus died,
The wrath of God was satisfied;
For ev'ry sin on Him was laid—
Here in the death of Christ I live.

There in the ground His body lay,
Light of the world by darkness slain;
Then bursting forth in glorious day,
Up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory,
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me;
For I am His and He is mine—
Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

No guilt in life, no fear in death—
This is the pow'r of Christ in me;
From life's first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.
No pow'r of hell, no scheme of man,
Can ever pluck me from His hand;
Till He returns or calls me home—
Here in the pow'r of Christ I'll stand.

A day at Kawan

We left home at about 8.30 a.m and got there about 8.55a.m. After mingling around, we went to fix the OHP for our worship later. My sis and I were supposed to lead the worship and we sang wonderful Hokkien songs.

Kawan, friends and that's what they are to the homeless people on the streets. This place is actually established to help those homeless people by providing them place to bathe and change their clothes and also provide them lunch every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Saturday morning, they can come over for mandi, listen to Hokkien sermon and have light breakfast. However, on Saturdays, not only homeless people will be there but also people who are poor or people who wants to attend Hokkien sermon.

See? =)) Ta-da. The place and time. It's right opposite Love Lane Inn which to me was a very good landmark to direct people there because it's so pinkish red.

That's me posing with the beautifully painted wall. I wonder who did all these but they are really beautiful artwork.

My lovely sister who can speak good hokkien and translate them into good BM. T_T I ought to be ashamed of myself.

Cheryl, me and Pao. Cheryl was kind enough to join us in front to lead the worship because my sister and I are hopeless like that. Wait a minute, I was the only hopeless one. Pao was my heroine of the day. =))

Pointing at my blog link or Kawan?? XD After the sermon and serving the people there with food, we mingled around and took more pictures. I had fun although I did not talk much to the people just because I don't know what to say.

A bunch of happy people from my church. Wherever they go, they seem to be so happy and chirpy and fun. =P Unlike my sis and I who always try to slip out of the place and run home. Why are we anti-social like that?

We left Kawan at about 11.30a.m. and went to Salsas to have our lunch. Two of our CG members are going off to Tanzania on a missionary trip so this is kind of like a farewell lunch and also just to makan and satisfy our tummy needs.

Salsas deserve a new blog post altogether because it'll be too lengthy and draggy if it's put in this post. But I assure you, it deserves a whole new post altogether. You'll find out why.

On Wesak Day

I spent my day loving God's people at Kawan. =)) Had fun.

I'm too lazy to blog these few days. Will hopefully resume that tomorrow or on Monday cause this blog owner is going off to Bangkok on Friday. =))

Shan is having fun in Perth already I think. <3

PKA Farewell Night 2009

PKA is Persaudaraan Kristian Agape which is the CF I join in USM and Farewell Night is their annual event to celebrate the graduating seniors. I am glad I am part of it because true enough, I am much closer with the first years now that we organized this event and thus the funny pictures of funny people in PKA. I love how random and crazy we are. =))

This is Pei Ing who is from my course also!!! =)) I'm glad she joined us for Farewell Night.

Ze Hao who was born on the 1st of April, 20 years ago. He is one year younger and I used to think that he is those blur blur guy BUT I soon found out, he quite naughty also. And very very drama laaaa..He can take all sorts of funny looking picture.

Genevie..I still don't know if I spell her name right!! Hehehe... We both braved through the fundraising event where we both baked the whole night. A very sweet girl with two huge dogs!!!

And Sharon!!! She has very nice voice and she watched ANNIE and can sing all the songs in Annie too!!! Very princessy..

Rachel!!!! Everyone calls her Monkey because her name is Mun Ee and she's very mischievous like monkey. I enjoy being with her and yes, she is a good senior despite how we always complain and kacau her. =)

Marie the hamster!!! She's a very kind hearted senior who is always asking you, you ok ar? Can ar? And then smile. Very sweet.

Michael the SS king. One of the crazy people in PKA. He climb roofs and do all nonsense. *sigh*
A very sweet senior that I like and I think I joined PKA because she was up on the stage singing and she's from PKA and she just looked so friendly and angelic.

Winnie!! The one who tried to recruit me into her CG but unfortunately, her CG speaks mandarin. =(

Abel and Daniel -.-". Daniel oh Daniel. Super gila these two. Just look at that picture la. I wanted to take a picture of myself in front of the mirror like I always do but he was busy posing there so I gave up. T_T

Esther the tigress. They say she very garang one errrr... Got la a bit. XD

Daniel Tan the guitarist. He is very good at playing guitar and I only began talking to him when we had to practise for our worship leading for that night. I was in the same class with him during my first sem you know? -.-" My social skills? Zero.

Our father Justin. He was the president and Abel was the vice la. He is always saying, "that's the way la". He speaks no hokkien or mandarin and the mean us (Abel, Daniel and I) always converse in hokkien and he always say, " English please!!"

Lesley. I rarely talk to her and the other sarawak girls because I'm always doing the guy's job. I can't do cute cards la. T_T So what to do? I do the roses' thorns cutting and all lor.

Chia Hoey. She's the one who consistently messaged me during my first sem, inviting me to join CG and all. They are all graduating. =((

Kristin whom I got to know only this sem, in our bible study. She is a very stern person but she can be very friendly and crazy too. I still think she is kind of serious and garang though.

THIS IS MY CG!!! Nissi CG!!! L-R, back: Alex, Josiah, Chee Yoong (CGL), James, Jethro, Abel, Ze Hao, Jun (Lydia's bf). Front: Genevie, Sharon Anne, Rachel, Daniel, Me, Esther (ACGL), Lesley, Lydia, Angie.

Usually a CG is supposed to be small and of maybe 10 or so people but ours got like 15 kah? I don't know. Ours super huge one la. And I love my CG!! =))
