Mother's Day

The one I wrote days ago got stuck in my desktop and I can't on it this morning. So, no choice. I had to rewrite. Well, the previous one was really in detail and I guess right now I don't feel like letting people know too much about me. At least not here. Let bygones be bygones. So yea. About my mum. Do you guys know my mum? I guess I should start with the names, pictures and everything. My mum's name is Shirley.

Pao and Mum

I am a very naughty girl since young. I follow resemble my mum a lot. From my looks to my bad temper to my crazy bits to my talkative nature, they are all from her. So mind you, I am crazy because I inherited that from her. =P Anyway, I believe that it is the hardest job to be a Mother. Apatah lagi, she is a single parent. No, my dad is not dead. As we were poor, we had to go through a lot to be who we are today. She is someone who was a pure lazy student and thus, I got that from her too. *she say one* But as she was lazy, she won't let us be lazy. She sent us to tuition classes despite having hard time making ends meet at that time. I been to a lot of tuition and yes, I admit I do benefit from it, especially when I hate touching my books when I got back.

I feel that my mum never stop working. Ever since the day she gave birth to us, her job is endless. She not only had to take care of us, earn money to feed us, now when we are all old enough and do not depend on her that much anymore, she has to start cooking for us to bring to school or work. She says that it is much more healthier if its home cooked food. So whenever my friends say that I am very lucky, I never deny that. She trust me a lot and she believes in me. Although I get lots of scoldings but I know, she loves me. I used to think that she loves my second sister only as she is pretty, smart and very hardworking. I on the other hand is not pretty, lazy and my academic results are so much poorer. Till I fall sick on 2005, I realized that no, my mum does not love one daughter more than another. She loves us all the same. And loves me probably more than my two sisters. I spend the less time with mum when I was small as I was sent to school and mum had to work. But I am so pampered, I get whatever I want.

In 2005, when I fall sick, she gets me presents every day. She will get me a small bag every day. One day one color. I got a lot of small bags now. And she never fails to see to my needs. She is a superwoman. So much stronger and 'mulia-er' compared to any other superheroes. Superman and Spiderman is nothing compared to a mother. My mum loves us unconditionally and we were thankful that she was responsible and did not give up on us when we were small. She never gives up on our study, never gives on giving us a better life. I got my first mobile phone when I was standard 6. Remember, we were poor. We even had to go to our aunt's place for meals. But I get whatever other girls get, maybe a less but still, I get them. I am thankful that I am born into this family and being her daughter, I am glad.

I love her a lot although I am extreme naughty. =)

So mummy,

Happy Mother's Day. We love you. Make sure you read ya?

My mum reads our blog. My sisters and I also write blogs. Maybe I should ask her to write one too. Hee. Mother's celebration is tomorrow. Having a farewell party for my second sister's bf too. =)

100th Post

No kidding. 100th post of craps. Well, I decided to invite Superstars to perform for my 100th post. I went to see them despite having lot more to study for exam. I guess its a good way to unwind after weeks of trying to swallow my books. So I went and I did not regret it. It was fun and super stress-free event. I don't want to yak yak yak. Just enjoy the pictures.

When they arrive. Diana damn pretty right? =)

The guys. =) L-R : Jo, Wee, Henley, Nick, Kyan

They sang their song. Will update when I know the title.

Any Henley fans?

Nick fans?

Diana's fans? Here here. Love her. So pretty.

More of Diana

And Diana.

And Diana. With Rynn

When they finish their song. "Meng Zui Da" (The biggest dream)

Ending pose. Orange was not around. She had graduation to attend.

The guys up for "Yong Gan Ai"

Top 10 but Orange was not there.

When I see Wee, I go wheeeee.. =)

The crowd. =)

Diana, Miko, Rynn and a bit of Yuni.

Them. It was great. Love the songs, the album, their signature.

Miko, Diana, Rynn, Yuni and a bit of Henley.

Us, the people who go crazy with me. Yi Lin and Pei Ying (sisters), Ju-Yen and Cher-Yin(sisters), and I.

Okay. Review? Well, I reached there at 2.30 pm and went straight to the entrance area. Then we waited and waited and waited. Then the bus pull up and Ju-Yen and I rushed outside. Henley used his video camera to record us. Well, the crowd actually. They were on the bus, chatting away, playing and waving to the crowds. Then they stood around and did some 'jia you' action and got ready to come down. So after like 10 to 15 minutes, they came down. Then we went in to see them perform. It was great. Their songs, their signature. They wrote my name on the album. Well, Miko and Jo did. So I did not shake hand with them. Shook with the rest though. Their friendliness, their enthusiasm makes me feel that it is right. Everyone should be happy with what they are doing. Although I might not actually know that they are so worn out but this is the attitude. Happy face whether you like it or not. I should start studying with interest and not just plain studying.

There's this thing about me liking local artiste. Some may think that I am a little immature and spend money on unnecessary things (the albums and time) but this is what I enjoy doing. I mean you can take that RM30 to drink alcohol, to go clubbing, probably other nicer and more useful activities, but I feel that what I am doing does no harm to other people and I should feel proud that I am helping the artiste to enjoy what they are doing with income. So, no comments about how lame and how stupid I am to support singers please. It is my choice and you do not have to right to judge me. =)

Anyway, it was a fun fun day. Thanks to my chase artiste gang especially Ju-Yen whom I chase artiste with almost every time.

Busy me.

Yes, this is true. I am busy. I am having my MUET Speaking tomorrow. Speaking bout it makes me feel like vomiting. Lol. Shan will definitely kill me. Anyway, I didn't know this Sunday is Mother's Day. How come nobody tell me? And I didn't prepare anything. You say die or not leh? Then I have been going to library more than I go to Prangin this year. Seriously. Maybe add up Prangin, Gurney, Queensbay and Midlands, I still go to library more. Scary huh? Anyway, since I am turning into a worm. A book one, I guess I will not update until after my exam. Maybe one or two here and there but not frequent one. So can go hang out other place while waiting for me to come back. But remember to come back after 23rd okay? Promise hah?

Trust

Who can you trust nowadays? Your parents? Your siblings? Your wife/husband? Your gf/bf? Your kids?Your friends? Honestly, there's no one we can trust now. Those free thinkers are even worse, they don't even believe in God. I shall not talk about people's beliefs here. Its just that I find that this world is so complicated with no one we can trust at all. And if we don't trust people, we can never be happy. We will always be worried, thinking and lost all the time. We got no one to hang on when we feel like collapsing, we got no one to give us a helping hand when we fall, we got no one to rely on,to give us emotional boosting. It is never easy to be anyone. It is never easy to be here, in this world, being able to think, talk and worry.

There's this small talk I had with my sister and mum just now. Apparently, someone I know got married to a China girl who was darn innocent(at first). The story was that this girl was left alone in Malaysia with RM150 after her sister left. Then everyday, she would take a bus and go to Komtar to sit around. She barely eats because she got no money. And somehow this guy got to know her and brought her home. Yes, stupid, kind-hearted, anything. This girl appeared nice. Stayed at home teaching the guy's sis's kids (a lil complicated) to read and write. Nice isn't it? Being able to mingle around fast enough and then they got married. The rule is, the bride's side will give an ang pow, the groom's side will give and ang pow too. As the bride's side were poor, they gave RM150. Fair enough? Even that money was borrowed. Whereas for the groom, the bride's side asked for RM5000. It is alright since the daughter got married to this guy and this guy happened to be from a wealthy family. So all starts well, ends well. Happy marriage, happy wedding, happy bride and groom. Then they had to go to China to have another ceremony there and got registered there too. So off they went. Weeks after, they came back and I heard that the bride's dad is asking for RM50 000 to build a house in China. First of all, they are marrying their daughter off, not sell. Isn't it a lil too overboard to ask for RM50 000. Tell me, who can we trust? I start to doubt the bride's innocence too. I mean if she truly loves that guy, she will not agree to her dad's request. Even if she loves them a lot.

I don't think there's anyone we can trust now. Seriously.

*above story was a true story and I hope the person I am talking about don't come across this and feel that I intrude his life. It was my opinion, my thoughts and from my point of view.

After that serious thoughts, something for you to laugh on.
It was during Superstar finale just now. When they had a short advertisement on, I walked into the room with my sis and talked to mum.

Me: Mi, just now you go see Viona, she cried ah?
Mum: Ya la, when people want to carry her, she started crying already.
Che: Ooo. Mi, last time we small time, we got like that? We got cry when people want to carry us?
Mum: No la.
Me and Che proud of ourselves.
Mum: Because no one wants to carry you ah. You were not cute nor pretty.
Me: -.- You small time very cute is it?
Che: Chieh, I bet no one wanted to carry you too.

***Me and Che starts tickling her and when she feels itchy and wants us to garu for her, we ran. XD We are that bad. Me love mummy although she say I am not cute. She is just so good at lying. So who can we trust nowadays? =P

A betrayed trust

Actually I wanted to combine this with another post that I am about to post about a motivational talk held in MBS today but I guess that will have to wait. Probably tomorrow or the day after that. This is a short post because Swee Win reminded me about this thing I wrote weeks ago but due to too much homework, I forgot to post them up.

Have you ever felt that someone betrayed your trust? You trusted him/her completely and unexpectedly, you were being let down and he/she betrayed you. It is as though whatever he/she said never matters and they were all lies. It makes you feel insecure and dare not trust anyone ever again. He/she knows that you have been having problems trusting people and it is hard for you to open up and trust in someone again but he/she just have to betray your trust. He/she was the one who made you believe that there's this someone in the world who will make you laugh until you can't stop, someone who changed you life by just being in it,someone who made you think that there really is good in this world and there's really an unlocked door waiting for you to open it. And now, all those are shattered into a thousand pieces.

I wrote this when I was feeling down and unmotivated. Though it may not be as good as those good writers out there but it speaks my heart. Not a poem, just a message.

You were once a strong wall that I lean on whenever I feel weak. I relied on you to boost my confidence, to acknowledge my existence and to support me. I relied on you so much that whenever something happened, I will run to you for support. Then one day, without warnings or signs or whatsoever, you walked away and I fall hard. I fell so hard, I couldn't stand up on my own. It took me courage, strength and determination to slowly find myself back and stood proudly on my own two feet. I told myself that I will not lean completely on a wall ever again. I've been more cautious on the steps I take, the walls I put my hands on and the road I choose. Even if you look like a strong wall once again, I swear I will never lay my hands on you.
I guess I am being emo. =) Ok, probably putting up the motivational talk thing up tomorrow.

10 things bout me.

I realize I have a very peculiar attitude. I am easy to please but it is also extremely easy to make me hate you or angry with you. Although right now, I only have one weird thing about me in my mind, I hope inspiration will come when I am typing. Worst come to worst, I keep this till I've complete the all 10. Anyway, what do you mean by weird? Well to me, I think it is weird for me because in my mind, it should not be happening to anyone but I am acting that way. So, its weird. If it is not weird to you then yes, you are free to have your own thoughts but this is my blog and I can feel weird for all I care. Yes, that is very menyampah right? That sentence. Lol. Anyway, moving on. The reasons why I feel I am very hard to please at the same time, easy to please person.

1. I don't like to go out and eat with people I barely mix with. Even my own uncle, I lose my appetite when I have to eat with them. Weird but true.

2. I never eat alone in coffee shops. I hate the thought of eating alone. I won't even buy from the shop by myself. I prefer cooking instant noodle.

3. I hate to feel like I owe people. I do not enjoy being treated. Especially when you are not my close friend or my family members. I dislike to go to birthday parties unless I have a gift which cost equally as much as the price of the things you treating me. Presents = waste of money = hate attending parties.

4. I may look very outgoing, talkative and kpc but I am very secretive too. I can talk about anything but I keep my secrets real tight too. That's why my mum was saying that among the three sisters, I am the worst. I tell her the least things. =)

5. I am a very egoistic person. I will always show the happy side of me especially in front of people whom I think will despise me if I look less tough. Lol, though that shows that I think too much.

6. I am a very deep thinker. I think bout things that might or might not happen all the time. I am often filled with thoughts of 'What if?'

7. I dislike chocolate bar *unless there's nuts*. It makes me sick. I used to hate milo too. And I can't drink coffee with milk, I feel like vomiting. Milo with milk makes me sick too.

8. I don't eat things with coconut. I feel sick if I eat it.

9. I hate being questioned. Especially when the person who question me cannot help me or give me advices after that. It is even worse when the person who shows so much interest in my things cannot even understand how I feel.

10. I love bringing trouble to myself. For example, this post. I know I don't have much idea but I still want to write about it. 'Gia sat boh heh tau kak' ( Take lice and put on my own head : bring trouble) However, there are times when I play safe too. =)

Labour Day

Labour day means nothing for a student like me cause I am not a worker. However, I do feel that studying is part of my job. Therefore, I AM HAVING A HOLIDAY!!!! Yes, I admit everyday is like a holiday to me. But today is a legal holiday. Not a self-declared one. Totally legal. Nevertheless, the thought of having MUET Speaking test is enough to kill every single excitement worm in me. Each time I think about it, I feel like puking vomiting (just in case you guys pronounce it wrongly).

Why do we have to go through so much hardship to obtain a higher level of Education. The thought of having MUET exam excluding the Speaking was enough to kill me. I mean the questions were unbelievable. How am I suppose to know if we should let them use firearms or not? I personally did not go for NS, I never fantasize of using a firearm nor did I ever thought of what I should do if I were told to use it. I can only say 'No' at that moment and crap my way through how dangerous it is and how it will kill the future generation and the future leaders. And I felt silly for thinking that the objective paper will help. The passages were so uninteresting, I almost fell asleep. I just crap my way through the paper. And now, I have to wait for my turn to crap my way through speaking. I just hope that I can at least get band 4 and I will not retake. I am not going to retake. No no no.

Coincidently, this year's Labour Day falls on the same day as Wesak Day. Which means we will get an extra holiday tomorrow. However, I have a feeling that I have to attend to my book's need tomorrow. Apparently, I neglected them long enough for them to look for a new owner. Anyway, after hours of thinking, I finally went to the Wesak Day procession with Yuh Jen, Diana, Yi Lin and Swee Win. We met Shan and Cheng Ling a while before continue walking. Along the way, we met Siang Ling, Hooi Chen, Ai Ling, Siang Ling's sis and May Wei too. Not forgetting Pei Hoay and Lay Hoon and Ming Yang and Siew Lay. Yes, we met lots of people. We had so much fun praying on our own *without our parents, we feel like we've grown up*, taking pictures, and walking. It was a good exercise. Loads of fun with the people I love. It would be better if I actually walked with Shan and Cheng Ling too. Overall, it was great. Enjoyed cuci mata-ing. Such events are very useful for this purpose as most Chinese are very devoted to the God they believe in. Had a tiring day and it is time to turn in. Nights. =)

Note: It is a beginning of a new month and I think I need a new resolution. I make it an effort to set an aim every month. Lol. Achieve it or not is another thing la. =)
