Organising and Budget Tips in Malaysia

I am a big fan of blogs who share organising tips at very low budget. However, in Malaysia, some organising stuff are rather pricey.  And we dont have a container store which I will surely love! Anyways, I stumbled upon these great glass canister in Tesco for only RM1.90. It's of great thick glass especially for RM1.90, it's a definite score.

I've seen tiny ones at RM1 and the quality isn't even half as good. So if you are looking for some glass canisters to store flour, sugar or even irresistable cookies, better hurry up over to Tesco for that fix. Usually prices of these containers are super low approaching the festive season. Last year, it was this cheap too during the Hari Raya sales. Love them!

So you can now organize your kitchen with similar canisters at low low price.

UPDATE: RM0.99 only on the 25th July! Go and grab them!

Recipe?

If you don't know by now, I now only cook with Thermomix. In fact it has been a while since I last touch the knob on the stove. And it has been a while since I last had to stand for at least an hour to cook lunch or dinner. And if you don't know how it looks like. It's the super canggih machine below. I am one of the consultant now so you can ask me for details or for a free demo. Just email me at pinkyblue88[at]gmail[dot]com.

I make my own snacks too
So healthy eating is taken care of. And we spend so much lesser on food as we eat in most of the time. We only go out for meals occasionally but having to pay RM3-5 per person for a meal hurts. And those are just coffee shop stuff. If we opt for restaurants, we would probably spend a month's worth of the money we use if we eat in.

These are the normal stuff that I cook daily. I managed to get some fresh prawns and fish fillet from home (sponsored by the mother). We cooked lesser as we had lunch outside with my mother. It was so easy to cook with Thermomix as we just throw the things in, set timer and off we go to online or in my case, watch my PLL. I am waiting for episode 2.

I posted a picture and someone (who is also using Thermomix) is asking for recipe for my humble humble dish over here. /shy I will work it out and share. It's really what we eat daily. Try to spice things up a little for the boyfriend but he is having bad tummy these few days (since Sunday) so we try to go light on everything we eat. The assam prawns was without oil. I didn't put any oil in it cause that's how we both like it.

I will work out the recipe and then share it here and on my facebook page. Do 'LIKE' us in our page. www.facebook.com/CookWithThermomix
