Secret Garden

After watching Running Man, I noticed a few short scenes of Secret Garden in the show. Hyun Bin was so handsome. So I decided to go google on this show and found it.

Now at episode 5 I think. Watch with whenever I can in between doing work. I am doing a few things at once now. One of it is translating a book for a dear friend for her ministry. I hope I do a proper job. =x Now back to translating before rewarding myself with one episode of Secret Garden.

I actually like it although the storyline is a little like those Meteor Garden days. Why do they have to always be so rich and powerful ar? I don't understand leh.

But I kept singing "That Woman" by Baek Ji Young. Look at my face also know I only sing the first two lines la. Then my boyfriend kept saying, "OMG I have a Korean girlfriend." Why he so lame I don't know. Maybe learnt from me.

Ok, back to translating. I know 1 month ago I went Hard Rock and said will update about it. I will...eventually. =P

Edit: Wah, I see myself too highly, say I sang first two lines. Tolong, is the one word in the two lines which is 'saranghamida'.

My Love From Another Star 2

I officially finished watching all 21 episodes in.....3 days. Ok what? Not really. I have no life. /cries.

Anyway, as I googled for the ending, I don't even know why I acted like I didn't know the ending and was quite eager to watch the last episode. But I have that kind of ability. To know the ending but still want to watch it. I don't know why everyone likes the male lead. I likeHwi Kyung more or please, even Yoon Jae is more good looking in my opinion.

The male lead is just........he has tiny head which is AWESOME to be alien. But, he is also too girlish. Although his character makes him very mysterious and charming, that I have to agree. However, if he is not like that in person, then....I don't know, please don't kill me.

I love the entire show because of Cheon Song Yi cause she is so unpretentious in the show and totally let go. Like WHO sits like that? So gangster and so unladylike. Normal person behaves better than that even. So it's good. I like. I admit, I fell into the hole together with many others too.

Sorry ar I watch this show after the hype if over. Even the stickers on LINE is gone. But when my friend was talking about it, I was like "SAY WHAT? Love story of alien and human? Korean some more?"

Korean shows rarely has happy ending. And Korean guys are no longer my type. I like rugged look. Korean guys look more like girls. But then I watched one episode because the boyfriend downloaded this app for me to watch dramas.

And I am hooked not because of Do Min Joon but because Cheon Song Yi damn funny. Her English got me laughing. No wonder my friend and my students were talking like that. -.-" But I like her acting and she was so funny the whole time and she makes you want to cry also. So, now I am at episode 12 (I started yesterday thankyouverymuch) and I decided to.....google for the ending. The boyfriend always scolds me because I just wouldn't wait for the show to tell me the ending.

Like I will google for winners when I am watching The Amazing Race. =x Sorry, bad habit of mine but I try not to spoil it for others. I try to "act" surprise also. I need to kick off this impatient habit of mine really. So episode 12 yo!

GUILTY!

Are you guilty of this? I'm most guilty for the waking up and before sleeping one! Boyfriend always complains that when he wants a cuddle, there I was, playing with my phone. =x How about you?

I've watched this video maybe a few months earlier, probably just days after he passed away after reading it somewhere. Sorry I've forgotten where =x But it's someone's blog if I'm not mistaken.

I like the song cause it's very catchy but if you actually watch his documentary and then listen to the song, it brings you to tears. Brought me to tears every single time. Cause it's him, telling people he loved, people around him that he is leaving and will never be back.


I've always heard people say things like there are other people who are more unfortunate, like babies died when they were born, or small children dying. But does that make his death a little less heartbreaking? Does his death mean a little lesser just because others are more unfortunate. Life and death is a natural process but it still makes people sad.

Totally called for

The show "Pretty Little Liars" got me questioning the producer's plots ALL the time. I cannot understand how these people can do what they do.

1. How can you just leave your car unlocked, in a dark place, with your windows down?
Isn't it super unsafe and totally called for when bad things happen? I mean LOCK YOUR DOOR AND WIND UP YOUR WINDOWS LA. Crazy ar? The girls can just walk off with their windows down and then expect to come back and not have some killer hiding in the passenger's seat?

2. How can you leave your car unlocked, in a dark place, with your windows down, and your handbags on your seats?
And you get shock when someone insert a paper into your bag. And it's not like you are not aware of strange things happening around you. Can be more careful or not?

3. How can you leave your car unlocked, in the woods, with your windows down and GO FOR A WALK?!
Just drive your car OUT and take a walk in a proper park or something! Geez..these people either are very brave or don't really use much you-know-what.

4. How can you still go to dark creepy places alone after so many people died?
And you get angry when your parents don't let you. This whole show is driving me crazyyyy..but I like to see the girls.

I even paused the show to write this okay? I'm gonna continue watching now.

The video is of two guys who wanted to know how bad labor pain is so they went to the doctor to get the simulation of labor pain. Watch on. For men and women. For men to know that mothers are not exaggerating and women as entertainment. =P

I don't use short form much tho I laugh way too much online, I don't hash tag like mad, I don't comment negatively, I don't put irrelevant captions, I don't write smart stuff...So yea...but it's damn funny. Bride's Special Dance

This video is about the bride, who lost her father to cancer the year she was about to get married. So she couldn't have her father-daughter first dance. Her brother sang her this song while she took turns dancing with her grandfather, her two brothers and finally her father-in-law. Cried in this one.

Same, got me so touched, I cried. The boyfriend thinks it's too cheesy though. I just find it so awesome to have great speeches, people who really cared at your wedding. Who actually cries with you. And not some aunty I've not met before who only cares about the food on the table. My only wish is that my wedding is filled with people who cared about me and my wedding. People who love Daniel and I and sincerely wants to be there to be happy for us. I've only been to a few weddings and I cried at Pao's (for obvious reason), and felt touched for my cousin's though I'm not close to her at all.

I wish to have lots of people who care and who helped in my wedding. Really. Oh well..too early to talk about it I guess.

Dr Jia Jia & Big Brother

I've watched quite a few of their videos. Loved the Tiger Mom ones.

But this one is by far the funniest. And it's also very original too. At least too me. I've not read or heard this elsewhere. If you have, you power lo, antenna long lo, your friends very funny lo... =P Happy boey?

Lotus Five Cinema

I'm not sure how many people still go to Prangin Mall, what more for movies. But Lotus Five Star is situated in Prangin Mall. It's great cause students only pay RM5 for movies (if it's not new released) the last time I went. I was beyond shocked but paid happily.

It is usually very deserted which is really unfortunate cause the chairs are all new and it's really nice. However, when we went yesterday, the air-cond was not on for the first 1 hour. But bearable cause there's like only 5 of us in there. It was switched on the next hour and it's perfect cause otherwise we would get too cold. I supposed they should switch it on the first hour and off it the next. That'll be better.

And the pop corn is alright. Not as big as TGV's but really, TGV's ticket is ridiculously high. Boyfie and I always go to LFS cause it's much cheaper there.

Me popcorn. Which is really not too bad at all. Size almost like GSC's tho.

Such a pity that not much people go there anymore. Park your car at 1st Avenue and enjoy good movie at low price yet get a comfortable experience!!!

We watched Loopers. Not bad. Kinda nice, a bit draggy tho. But nice.

Amazing Race Season 20 (2012) *Spoiler Alert*

So the boyfie and I have been watching Amazing Race Season 20 which just ended about two months ago. We have been watching it for 11 nights (since there's 11 episode with the last one featuring Leg 11 and 12). We have also concluded that we will never join Amazing Race together because

#1, I am very timid and have no guts
#2, I have no sense of direction
#3, I have no stamina whatsoever
#4, I have low tolerance of pain
#5, I am the worst person to be in a competitive situation together because the boyfie and I quarrel over nothing at all every day, what more under such pressure.

I have also concluded that I will be worst that Rachel of Rachel and Brendon and we will fight far more than any contestant you have ever seen.

Anyways, the boyfie and I root for different teams. More like he doesn't root for any team but he is particularly harsh on a few girls in the show.

He dislikes Rachel of Rachel and Brendon because she cries all the time. On the other hand, I think it is perfectly normal to cry. Different people releases stress differently and not everyone is as strong as Vanessa in enduring pain and not everyone is as cool as Rachel of Rachel and Dave to laugh everything off.

I've been reading online about how Rachel of Rachel and Brendon is always crying, they are always fighting, they shouldn't get married and have kids and everything. But I think these people are just being harsh and judgmental just because they are at home happily typing away. The point is, they stayed together. I think cause I am as emotional and bad tempered as Rachel, I can understand it. Although sometimes she gets on my nerve cause she gets demotivated for no reason and allow people to overtake her.

Rachel of Rachel and Dave on the other hand is ever so cool. I like how she is much stronger (mentally) compared to Dave and she makes every tasks seems easy. Dave is very negative and is always hard on her. With all that negativity, she occasionally say things like "You are the most negative person I've ever met" (agreed) or "How do you know that?" when he says that they are not gonna win. She is very positive and calm in doing the challenges and I believe she is the strong backbone to Dave which won them the $1 million dollars. She never gives up, tries her best under negative reinforcements by her husband whereas when she tries to give encouragement to her husband, all she got was, "I appreciate silence." Or "silence is golden". I don't particularly favor Dave but I love Rachel cause she is pretty and always smiling. Without Rachel, Dave would never have won.

Vanessa is pretty and she is not just what you see on the outside. She can really tolerate pain and she pushes herself. Although she can be mean to Rachel from Rachel and Brendon but she can be nice as well. I do believe they deserve to be in the top 4.

As you can see, I did not say anything about Art and JJ yet though they are in the 2nd place because I don't like JJ. He is a baby, he whines, he has more feminine side that he knows, yet he feels that he is superior to others. Confidence is one thing, but when you are over-confident, it eats you up. Seriously. He was saying the 'Big Brothers' are always following him and all that. Well, I was telling the boyfie, at least they are close enough to follow (I may be bias, I did not say I am not). Seriously, give people some credit for the things they have done. If they are that weak and lousy, I don't think they'll be in top 4. You have to give credit where it's due. Perhaps because the Big Brothers are always so near them and just a few slots behind them, they felt threatened. They said they want to keep the top 4s as they themselves, Vanessa and Ralph, Bopper and Mark and Rachel and Dave. However, when Rachel and Brendon did not take the Fast Forward (which needed them to shave their head), JJ was making so much noise about how Bopper and Mark would have taken it and now they have to fight for the final spots and all. The truth is, you don't think you are strong enough to win the two other teams (or at least you have your reservation) and you don't care who goes home as long as it is not you. Then stop talking about Dave and Rachel not keeping to their promise to keep the 4 teams to the final 4. He was harping and complaining about how Rachel of Rachel and Brendon is too chicken to cut her hair, she doesn't deserve to be here and all. Well, she fought her way to win you in that Leg and then fought to keep herself in top 3. So enough of talking. He whined about Rachel of Rachel and Dave as well. Of how it must be her idea to not Fast Forward because he trusts Dave. Hello~ If you are truly great man of God, stop looking down on women. You have to give credit to them for doing better in some things. Don't whine on how it is more women tasks than men's when you lose and how strong is your team when you win. Man up and stop being such a sore loser.

Ok, enough ranting.

=P All in all, I love this season of Amazing Race. And all these are purely personal opinions. *wink* Been reading lots of their interviews online when I should be doing my work. Go google their name and you'll get to read lots of interviews. =)

Speaking of movies, the boyfie and I enjoy going to Lotus Five Star in Prangin Mall for movies. RM5 for students on weekdays, even for PREMIER shows!! Love it. Popcorn a little too small a portion though. The large popcorn is as small as the one in GSC large. Best popcorn in terms of portion has to be TGV though the price of the movie ticket is not at all appealing.Will blog about Lotus Five Star. RM5 is too good to be missed.
