Me: YOU TELL ME WHAT YOU ASK I NEVER GIVE! HUR? TELL! *defensive*

Him: Urm...the Minions I say I want to buy from US you said NO!

Me: That's cause I want to buy for you! Remember I showed you last week? I bought for you okay?

Him: Really meh?

Me: *Act teary* YA LA! Don't believe me some more. *hide under pillow*

Him: Sorry la..you look at me and say you bought it again. *testing*

Me: *cringe* I bought it la! Don't believe suak! *defensive mode on*

Him: Ok la..ok la..sorry la..thank you baby.

Me: Oh shit, I hope they are still selling it! =P

Him: So that you can buy it after I leave right?

Me: Heee... You believed that I bought?

Him: Earlier yes..now no..

Travelling stories

Sometimes when I think about BKK, I will remember the time when Daniel and I almost missed our flight.

It was probably his first flight out of the country and my first without my family. So we were too relaxed about getting through the immigration.

We thought that boarding time=time we can go through immigration. 

So we sat outside waiting! When we line up to enter the immigration, the line was MAD LONG LA.

And they wanted to scan my bag twice. 

All these happening while they announce that it's a final call to board our plane. 

We were running like mad and the Bangkok airport then was super huge la. 

It was the nice one, not the budget one. And it felt like it was endless. 

So while we were running in the airport towards the gate and I dramatically asked Daniel to hop on the plane and leave me behind. 

I was really tired of running and I thought I slow him down. 

And I really meant it then.

So funny thinking about how drama we were.

Daniel was saying, "NO, YOU BETTER RUN. DON'T TALK NONSENSE!!!"

It's sweet that he didn't leave me behind and we actually managed to board the plane. Of course if you don't talk about all the guilt punishment he gave me after we managed to reach the gate, it's a happy ending. When we got to the gate, there were still people who have yet to board the plane! And I had enough time to drink some water and eat some motion sickness pill.

Our second trip on our own was Bali and if you don't already know, the boyfriend vomitted from Bali all the way back to Penang. 

And I spent the whole night looking for hot water for him and then when I got home, I vomitted too cause I masuk angin.
But he said I took good care of him. *smug*

Credit Card sir?

Was reading Timothy Tiah's blog about this credit card prank that Audrey enjoys pulling on him. The boyfriend was behind me, watching The Wizard of Oz. I turned to him and looked at him. He knew I was up to no good. I read the blog post to him. And then come the million dollar question.

"Credit Card sir?"

"Don't be crazy, you are always out to pull pranks on me"

"What pranks?"

"You are always looking for chances to tickle me on my armpit. Each time I lift my hands up, you will attack. Or you will trick me to lift them up and attack."

"But they are always calling out to me, asking me to go to them. *wave hands above head* Come, Ping Ping, come."

"Nonsense."

*stare at his armpit* *attack*

"See, they are calling."

I don't do the credit card prank but I do always find EVERY available opportunity to tickle the boyfriend cause he is super ticklish like that.

Recipe?

If you don't know by now, I now only cook with Thermomix. In fact it has been a while since I last touch the knob on the stove. And it has been a while since I last had to stand for at least an hour to cook lunch or dinner. And if you don't know how it looks like. It's the super canggih machine below. I make my own snacks too

So healthy eating is taken care of. And we spend so much lesser on food as we eat in most of the time. We only go out for meals occasionally but having to pay RM3-5 per person for a meal hurts. And those are just coffee shop stuff. If we opt for restaurants, we would probably spend a month's worth of the money we use if we eat in.

These are the normal stuff that I cook daily. I managed to get some fresh prawns and fish fillet from home (sponsored by the mother). We cooked lesser as we had lunch outside with my mother. It was so easy to cook with Thermomix as we just throw the things in, set timer and off we go to online or in my case, watch my PLL. I am waiting for episode 2.

I posted a picture and someone (who is also using Thermomix) is asking for recipe for my humble humble dish over here. /shy I will work it out and share. It's really what we eat daily. Try to spice things up a little for the boyfriend but he is having bad tummy these few days (since Sunday) so we try to go light on everything we eat. The assam prawns was without oil. I didn't put any oil in it cause that's how we both like it.

Me: Bii..you sure planning something in secret already!!! I am so excited!!!

Him: *looking puzzled* Huh? What?

Me: gai lo..act dumb some more.. I am so excited!!!!

Him: now I have to plan a surprise T.T

And he kept saying, You always like that one. You simply talk one!! And I kept ignoring him and say that I am excited. Poor boyfie.

Work is piling up so I am attending to them one by one tho I really should work faster. =x

Secretly a tigress

Me: Eh, why you never send me request to give you ticket? (on our usual Candy Crush talk)

Boyfriend: I scared you will scold me and be unhappy (clearly cause he has passed the level that I was stucked in, passed it last night before I go to bed).

Me: I got so fierce meh? Send la!!

Boyfriend: It's okay, I sent to many people already.

Three days later, still refuse to send to me. So I went to his Candy Crush app and noticed that he is already in level 68, 3 levels after getting the ticket. Walao!! Dare not tell me that he got the ticket and moved on. -.-" I got so fierce meh?


Go to sleep
Me: You better finish your work before you sleep tonight. Tomorrow some more want to go out with friends. (payback for always nagging me)

Boyfriend: Ok =(

a little past 12am.

Me: Eh so late already, still don't want to sleep?

Boyfriend: *yawn* I haven't finish my work. You say cannot sleep before I finish.

Me: -.-" Since when so obedient? Fine! Finish up your work! Else when you can't finish, you'll throw tantrum on me.

Boyfriend: Ok. =( *silently do his work*

30 minutes later.

Me: Eh, still don't want to sleep meh? (I KNOW I DAMN ANNOYING)

Boyfriend: You say cannot. =(

Me: Aiya, go sleep la, tomorrow wake up earlier to continue.

Boyfriend: OK! =) *shut down computer and hopped to bed*

Half day trip to Ipoh

Bare in mind this happened the week BEFORE CNY, so it's really very backdated. What? Don't judge me, I just got my dropbox. =P Finally got pictures to blog with. I've been bugging the boyfriend for not bringing me anywhere after I submit my dissertation. So he planned a last minute trip to Ipoh. Thus we did not ask anyone nor meet up with anyone there.

 

Early in the morning, leaving Penang.

Love the clouds and the orange sky

 The weather was clear, there wasn't much car on the road and we were cruising down the highway.

 God's really amazing. Can anyone create anything more magnificent and magical than Him? Look at how beautiful the sky was. And the sun, peeking through it.

 Woooo...scary mist ahead. Suddenly, that part of the road was so misty. But gorgeous!!

No car in sight. We were practically driving on our own at one point with no cars around us.

 Misty again!! But mad gorgeous!

Our first stop was Nam Heong Coffee Shop. The boyfriend cleverly left his itinerary 300km away from where we were. T_T So he was at the back googling for his itinerary again. Well, to cut the long story short, we missed a few places he said was good.

 Ipoh White Coffee. Not that I'm a coffee person and it was so early in the morning. I was with an empty stomach so I took a few sip. The boyfriend enjoyed it though.

 We also had toast. And the Kai Si Hor Fun (Chicken with Koay Teow) =P Awesome much but morning isn't my best time to eat. After eating, we had.....some problem and went to the nearest mall (Ipoh Parade). Their parking is EPIC I tell you. Normal underground parking right? With RM1.50 per entrance fee which you have to pay at the entrance. Now comes the epic part. You pay to a machine which only accepts COINS! We were fumbling for coins cause we didn't see that coming. Thank God we had just enough to pay. The boyfriend had RM1.40 and I contribute my one and only 10cent coin! My 10cent coin saved the day. =P

After settling our 'business', we went walking around the mall.

 The bench was cleverly placed right in front of senQ facing the huge television. So we can sit and watch some shows. At about 12something to 1, we decided to proceed to the famous Dai Shu Kiok (Big Tree Foot =P) to have our 'yong tau fu' lunch.

 Ordered this RM3.50 mix fruit juice which is the famous drink there. Really, it's just a glass of drink with lots of fruits like papaya, watermelon, longan, dragon fruit, mango and such.

All the yong tau fu are fried stuff so I took a little to share with the boyfriend and I got to eat my bee tai bak (called Lo Shu Fun there). Not my favourite food there although everyone has been talking about it. I would like to try their normal hor fun with chicken and dimsum the next time. This one may not be my choice again since I love my yong tau fu to be a mixture of fried stuff and non-fried stuff.

We also went to tapao some kaya kok, pohpiah and satay (all of which can be found in Penang). Will visit Ipoh again cause I believe I have not seen Ipoh enough this time around.

On our way back, we witnessed something only seen on TV. A couple in the car in front of us were fighting and the lady controlling the steering was going left right with one hand at the steering and another hitting her husband/boyfriend/another guy (not sure of his status). After swaying for some time...finally, at a fast moving road, the guy opened the car door to jump off the car. Damn drama. He did not jump off but she drove to the side and they continued fighting at the side of the road I think. We left Ipoh already as the road was heading to highway. I've never seen live drama like this. So that marks the end of our trip to Ipoh and we head back to Penang. The next day we started selling fruits in Lip Sin market which will be in the next post.

Being Cheapskate

A week ago.

Me: *tag boyfriend on Facebook* Check this out. Buy 1 Free 1. You go get for me okay?
Him: Why me? We go together la.
Me: I have to rush dissertation and I got tuition la.
Him: Okok.

Yesterday
Him: *finds in his Facebook* Ok...I know the place already.
Me: What is it? Oh the Buy 1 Free 1 promo. You gonna go get it?
Him: Ya...Tomorrow I'll go.
Me: AWESOME.

Today, at about 4+, he went to get it. Came back with two drinks.

Me: What is it?
Him: Mango Yogurt and Bubble Gurt Fruit Tea. *takes the fruit tea* Hmmm...nice, got Jasmine taste.
Me: Is it? *takes a sip* *facial expression immediately changed* Walao. Your drink like a girl's drink. Got fruit, flowers and tea taste (Jasmine ma).
Him: Ya...
Me: Not nice right?
Him: Ya...not very nice.
Me: Mine nicer right?
Him: Ya.... *shy*
Me: Aren't you glad your drink has so much ice in it? Imagine the whole cup is filled with the tea. YUCK!
Him: A little bit.

HAHAHHAHA Hilarious. To his defense, it was supposed to be a fruit tea. And he kind of missed the word tea cause I can't take tea. So he has no choice but to swallow it *literally*.

Him: Do you want to try my drink?
Me: No...not really.
Him: But I want to try yours.
Me: Drink la.
Him: Come, let's exchange.
Me: Very smart. No!! You can drink mine but I don't want to exchange with you.

Thank God

for boyfriend who cleans house and cook lunch.
for boyfriend who will cook whatever you crave for because you are so stressed up.
and for Thermomix to cook the thing I want to.

T_T I can't wait for it to be over but I don't want time to pass faster. Because I've a WHOLE lot more to do.

I need a nap.

2013 Resolution in Action

One of it only. Which is to exercise and lose some weight. With CNY coming soon, I kind of need that quick.

Mad love the boyfriend cause I've been very lazy. He'll think of a fun activity and even offers to do it with me but after one two weeks, I'll stop and he'll stop persuading. But then few weeks later, he'll think of something else and get me to do with him. It's really done out of love. Who would persistently try his best to find one that will suit you despite knowing that it's really just laziness?

Now my whole body aches from yesterday's workout. He is in the next room, snapping pictures for Dsparkles.

Me: Hee..Okay la. Hobbits Hobbits. I go toilet first.

Him: Eh Bii, or we watch Jack Reacher. Cause Hobbits also need to know Lord of the Rings eh story one. Jack Reacher one is like a spy one.

Me: Har? Ok lo... Don't want Hobbits meh??Lord of the Rings I know ma, got some short guys, and a monster with a ring. And two short people on tree name Happy and Merry. The ring is give them power one and then the ring cannot fall to bad people's hand, later bad people become more powerful.

Him: Only Merry. And your story all wrong one.

Me: =( Got little bit correct ma. Ok lo, watch Jack lo.. *sounds disappointed*

Him: Why you don't want is it? Tell me properly.

Me: Nvm la, watch la...I am okay one.

Him: But you sound so disappointed one.

Me: Oh... YAY ARE WE WATCHING JACK REACHERS????!!! *overexcited*

Him: You don't have to act so excited one, just act normal can already.

Me: Oh okay. Yay yay yay *clap hands* faster buy ticket for Jack Reachers!!! *still overexcited*

#3 Family Dinner
 His mother: The other day we went to have dinner with our colleagues, ate crab and all. In the end must pay RM30 each.

Me: *whisper to him* If got eat crab okay la. If you are allergic to seafood damn suay, eat capalang some more must pay RM30.

Him: Just tell them la, "I never eat crab, I pay less."

Me: Walao. Confirm nobody wants to go out makan with you one. So petty.

Him: =( That's why nobody wants to eat with us lo. =(

Me: HAHAHAHA TRUE!!!! Some more when you eat, you don't look at the food on your plate, your eyes are on the food on the table.

Him: *demonstrate eating while eyeing the food on the table and scolds when people want to take food* Eh, I not yet eat that one a.

Me: HAHAHHAHHAHHA...WHY YOU LIKE THAT????

ps: He calls it middle child syndrome. I call it gluttony. =P

Challenge accepted!

Yesterday, while having dinner in the room (yes, we have dinner in the room), the boyfriend spilled half a bottle of his water on his bed. And yes, we sit on his bed to have our dinner. He forgot that he did not close the cover and tilt his bottle vertically and water-falls (literally).

So I hurriedly got up and looked at him with big wide eyes.

Me: Bii, your water bottle!!!! You forgot to close your bottle hor?

Him: Hee...Ya, forgot.

Me: *Still staring*

Him: Go get a cloth la. (I wanted to get a tissue) Don't want tissue, get a cloth!!

Me: Okay, okay, *grab my towel*. Thank God I'm not the one spilling it, otherwise CONFIRM kena marah like mad.

Him: What?! Where got?! *act innocent*.

Me: Got lo!!! Come pinky promise, if I ever spill anything on your bed, and you scold me, YOU MUST REWARD ME.

Him: FINE! BR!

Me: I deserve better!!!

Him: Haagen Daaz.

Me: BETTER!!!

Him: TGIF lo...

Me: FOR 10 TIMES. =P

Pushing my luck. Anyways, I'm gonna try to spill water on his bed and get scolded and get my BR. =P I want BR today.

The Valentine's Day

It's my first and probably the best ever!!!

The boyfriend did this. Lantern all over, handmade flowers. I'm loved.

I am poser.

So this is what he did. He fetched me from Fajar since I thought he had cg till late and I was half-drenched from the rain earlier. So he drove like mad without stepping on the brake. I was shocked and I didn't know where we were going. Then he led me to some place which I don't know but it was scary with wet grasses. Then I saw that, that little place all lit up with these lanterns and I melted. I am loved, well-loved. =) And I am happy.

That boy has been running around all night trying to pull that together and it was raining but it stopped and he made it. He has to be the sweetest guy I've ever met and he's mine.
And nah, tonnes of useless photos of me just because I like it. Can't wait to go camwhore at some beautiful place with that flowers he made. Flowers that wil not wither.

Experiment #1

Am waiting to see the effect. Can't wait. Waiting for my turn to wash my hair.

An honest friend

A friend once told me, "Although I know you have to carry out your duties etc, but I still hope to see the same bubbly, happy friend you are and not someone who is scary. Respect is earned. People will still respect you though they don't fear you." (I rewrite this in my own words cause you don't expect me to memorize messages now, do you?)

I believe this is in the hearts of many of my friends especially high school friends since you all know me longest. Let's take one step at a time. Let's start with this. =)

Let me know when I'm too bossy. Promise I won't bite.

ps: I do take time to look back into my life and notice this trait of mine. =) And trust me, it goes all the way back to my secondary school years - not too long ago.

Wei Wei vs Herballine

Location :- Equal (WeiWei is located beside Toy Museum thus free parking while Herballine is located in Gurney Plaza, in front of Kim Gary, beside S&J so you get to shop.)

Ambience:- WW is much more quiet as you are brought into rooms while in HL, you are brought into cubicles.

Services apart from facial – HL's facial comes with feet reflexology, foot bath, aromatherapy, nicer teas and spa soup- which was pretty yummy.

Price:- HL cheaper, WW’s price might increase with additional services like eye mask etc (which they ask if you want to do it when they are doing your facial, WW’s has more packages and that means more injury to our pocket. HL does not have any course that you must sign up for!

Annoying sales:- WW's staff are sometimes very pushy, comes up with courses that they'll make you sign up for. HL is actually quite good, not pushy.

Facial
Pain:- WW is facial not as painful. At first I thought they’ll be equally painful but NO!!!!!!! HL’s pain is like 10x WW’s. I was thinking HL will be where I’ll visit for my future facials but when that pain set in, I was almost ready to run back to WW’s arm without my bra. In HL, they’ll advise you to remove them but it was totally up to you, the girl who did my facial DID not tell me I can choose not to remove them.

Service:- As bad. Seriously, HIRE MORE WORKERS!!!!! I don’t think it’s a good idea to let your customer lie down in the room for some time that feels like eternity before coming back to them just because you are attending to another customer. T___T I actually thought she forgot me. I was T H I S close to knock the wall and remind them my existence.

Products:- HL- much cheaper and affordable if you intend to buy them.

Machines:- Equal I think, WW has this sterilization machine after she extract blackheads and pimples from your face while HL has this laser machine that removes dead cells.

Overall, HL wins by 2 votes but really, for the service, I won’t mind going back to HL but thinking of the pain I would happily run back to WW.

Wei Wei has many branches all over Penang.
Herballine is situated in Gurney Plaza, 3rd floor, in front of Kim Gary and right beside S&J. It currently has a promotion for first-timer. You only pay RM28 for the RM79 facial. =)
